How It Works

What happens after you refer

From the moment we receive your referral, our team manages the details and keeps your office in the loop.

1
We confirm the referral

Our team creates the referral, confirms we’ve received it, and reaches out to guide you through next steps.

2
We contact your patient

A patient access representative gathers any additional demographic and medical details directly from your patient.

3
We review records

We review what you’ve sent and request anything else that’s needed from your office or the patient.

4
We verify insurance

We check the patient’s benefits and handle any authorizations before the visit.

5
We schedule the visit

Your patient receives their appointment details and everything they need to prepare, in person or by telehealth.

6
We follow up with you

We share the appointment status, and after the visit we send our findings back to your office.

FAQ

Questions from referring offices

Do I need a confirmed diagnosis to refer?+

No. You can refer a patient with a confirmed diagnosis or a suspicion that still needs workup. Send what you have and our team will guide the next steps.

How will my patient’s records get to you?+

Send the relevant reports with your referral when you can. For anything missing, our team works directly with your patient and your office to gather what’s needed.

Which insurance plans do you accept?+

It depends on your patient’s specific plan. Our team verifies benefits and explains any requirements before the visit. See our Insurance & Billing page →

What if my patient doesn’t have insurance?+

We help patients understand their options and connect them with financial support resources, so cost isn’t a barrier to being seen.

What if my patient speaks another language?+

Interpreter support is available so your patient can communicate comfortably with their care team throughout their visit.

My patient prefers to schedule themselves. Can I still get follow-up notes?+

Yes. Have them contact us directly, and include your details with the referral so we can send our notes back to your office after the visit.
